Agenty processes card payments using Stripe Connect. Employers pay workers through the app; Stripe handles compliant payouts to workers who have completed onboarding.
Fees
Platform fee: 5% per successful payment.
Stripe processing fees: charged to Agenty (not deducted from the worker's payout).
Example: Employer pays £100 → Agenty collects £5 → Worker receives £95. Stripe's fee is paid by Agenty.
Payouts: Workers must complete Stripe Connect onboarding and provide a bank account. Payout timing/availability is managed by Stripe and varies by country/bank/compliance.
Refunds & disputes: Payments are between employer and worker. Refunds should be arranged directly. Card disputes/chargebacks follow Stripe's process. Agenty's 5% fee is generally non‑refundable; if the entire payment is reversed, we may reverse our fee. Partial refunds typically exclude Agenty's fee.
Compliance: Stripe performs KYC/AML under Stripe Connect. Taxes, employment status, and compliance are the users' responsibility.
Availability: Currency GBP initially; risk controls may apply.
